With the exception of cases expressly provided for by law, credit intermediaries are prohibited from receiving or delivering any amounts related to the formation, execution and early fulfillment of credit agreements, according to article 46 of Decree Law 81-C\/2017, which regulates the activity of Credit Intermediation.<\/p>\n

Opini\u00f5es e Debates, Lda<\/strong> carries out the activity of credit intermediary, under a binding contract signed with BANCO BPI, SA, BANCO BIC PORTUGU\u00caS, SA and CAIXA GERAL DE DEP\u00d3SITOS, SA, on a non-exclusive basis, for the provision of the following services: presentation or proposal of consumer credit agreements, assistance to consumers, by carrying out preparatory acts or pre-contractual management work in relation to credit agreements that have not been presented or proposed by them, and the provision of consultancy services.<\/p>\n

Credit intermediation activity is subject to supervision by the Bank of Portugal.<\/p>\n

Any complaints regarding the provision of credit intermediation  services may be submitted by email to  reclamacoes@opinioesedebates.pt.
